When Bud Harsh made his first tipping gear back in 1948, he introduced a product destined to become a true world leader, in truck hydraulics, nothing quite like it had ever happened before.
Certainly nothing has equaled it since, HARSH is the original. Now more than 75% of all tipping gears are under-floor. under license based on the HARSH patent. In the U.K. the rise of HARSH has been rapid, in this conservative market, where nothing new had happened in 70 years. The established suppliers liked a quiet life, in the 1980's HARSH came into the market and changed that forever. Our competitors at first dismissed the HARSH product, after all, they knew best. But the market decided otherwise. Now those competitors are rushing out under-floor hoists of their own, aimed at toppling HARSH but with little success, without Hirsh's 50 years experience, their designs don't even come close.
