Installation Guidelines

1 Basic mixer is set up Mixers 16’ long or longer have adequate length to install on tandem rear

axle trucks. The measurements shown are for minimum cab to trunion.

2 Trucks exceeding 33,000 GVW are subject to FET. Modifications may betaxable.

3 If your PTO does not rotate opposite engine than you must order the engine rotation kit with opposite engine rotation input. For the mixer.

4 The faster the PTO speed the more engine H.P. is required. The faster the

PTO the faster the mixer will mix and unload. Check PTO application prior to

purchase of truck to insure adequate PTO is available.

5 At normal unloading engine speed (1200 to 1500 RPM) recommended ground

speed should not exceed 3.0 mph in low gear.

6 Hydrostatic drives are recommended on 810 series truck mounted mixers.

7 Hydrostatic drives are recommended on 900 series truck mounted mixers.

8 Axle capacities and other ratings must follow the recommendations of the truck

manufacturer. Observe all local, state and federal laws.

9 Some mixers 16’ long or longer are available with 8” triple auger discharges.

Some interference may exist with some models on tandem axle trucks.

10 Truck frames must be adequate to handle the loads and the sub frame spread.

In some cases double frames may be necessary.
